Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Oakey, often called Trinity Oakey, is a confessional Lutheran congregation that gathers weekly for worship at 125 Hamlyn Road, Oakey, 4401. Trinity Oakey is a confessional Lutheran congregation which was established in 1993, to ensure that faithful teaching and practice of the Evangelical Lutheran Church could continue in Australia after the LCA (Lutheran Church of Australia) began teaching false doctrine and supporting false practice.
Today, in 2026, Trinity Oakey is faithfully served by Pastor Peter Ziebell, and is a member-congregation of the Australian Evangelical Lutheran Church (AELC). Worship services are held each week on Sunday morning with Sunday School either before or after service, Bible Studies are held monthly, Young Adults & Youth (YAY) occur regularly for the young adults and youth of Trinity Oakey at St Johns Aubigny (a sister-congregation within the AELC), and Men’s Fellowship gathers once a month.
